. AdVENTURE, a STEM Program September 27, 2010 Dear AdVENTURE 8th Grade Students, English settlers established colonies in North America for many reasons. By 1733, there 13 British colonies all along the Atlantic coast. The three regions were: New England, Middle Colonies and Southern Colonies. Your job this week is to compare and contrast life in these three regions. You will need to conduct your research using books, textbooks, and the internet. You will have one week to research your topic and prepare your Powerpoint presentation. You will share your presentation with the class on Thursday, 9/20. Good luck to you all.
